The "New" Lohr's Family Restaurant is located at 911 East Patrick Street in Frederick, Maryland. It has been owned and opperated by the Jones' family since November of 2003.

Hours of Opperation

Monday: 6AM-3PM

Tuesday: 6AM-8PM

Wednesday: 6AM-8PM

Thursday: 6AM-8PM

Friday: 6AM-8PM

Saturday: 6AM-8PM

Sunday: 7AM-2PM

We are a small family style restaurant welcome to all. You can even enjoy a beer or a glass of wine with your lunch and dinner. And our friendly staff will be sure to give you a memorable dining experence.

Message from the Owner

In 2002, when I came here and started working for Mr. Lohr, I was living at the halfway house up the street. He was ready to shut this place down but hired me as a line cook making only $7.50 an hour. After working here for about a month, he saw that I was very skilled in what I did and asked if I would help run the restaurant; of course, I did. After helping run the restaurant for awhile, I told my son, David Jr., what I was doing. My son and I have made it through some pretty tough times, but we made it. He started working here and together we started to bring the restaurant back to life; of course with all the help of the employees that have stuck with us. then before I knew it, I was out of the halfway house and I met the love of my live, my wife, Rayann Jones. All together, we put effort into the restaurant and I had a chance to buy Lohr's. We worked out a deal and bought Lohr's and started our own Restaurant, "The 'New' Lohr's Family Restaurant and Catering Service." We changed a lot and to this day we keep working towards the next day and hope people will continue to enjoy our food and environment. I have to say if it wasn't for the support of my wife and son, I wouldn't be here today telling this story. And of course, I want to thank you, the customer, for giving us the chance to surround you with great food and great people.
